Seals for trains

The future of our mobility rests on the rail

Increased demands of our customer requires a wide range of possibilities regarding the development.

It is therefore clear that we start early with the requirements concerning the fire specification DIN EN 45545-2 and to develop by means of our compound development compounds that are meanwhile checked by external certified test laboratories and are released according to this fire specification.

Regarding your specific application we are ideally positioned:

Our experienced team of product developers in combination with our possibilities regarding simulation together with our extensive possibilities concerning reinforcing supports, adhesives and sealing compounds or surface treatment systems is the basis to find also for your application an ideal solution.

By means of our own compound development and production we have compounds available covering a wide-range of Shore hardness.

Furthermore by means of our own compound development we are able to develop compounds to meet the requirements concerning other specifications.

During the seal development requirements regarding pressure and suction are always in the focus.

A coextrusion combining a soft sponge rubber area (sealing area) and a hard dense rubber area (fitting area) is state of the art for us, offering an excellent fitting and sealing function.

Surface refinements by means of our high grade and permanent sealing systems lead to a minimisation of friction and as a freezing protection.

If required our profiles can be coated online also with flock.

High grade EPDM-profiles enable a flexible application even in cases of high temperature variations  (-35° to + 120° C.).

Furthermore an assembly regarding frames or lengths including cut-outs or drilled holes is possible.
