Training period

3 ½ years / 7 semesters

Fields of work

Fields of work After graduation a deployment in departments like Development, Industrial Engineering or as Management trainee in production divisions is possible. Further applications are Quality Management, Environmental Protection, Technical Support or Sales.

Training Procedure

The training takes place in cooperation between the company and the university of Hannover and is divided in theoretical and practical semesters.

  • 1. - 4. semesters: 3 days per week in university, 3 days per week in the company 
  • 5. - 6. semesters:
    Full time study at the university of Hannover,
    during the semester breaks active assistance in the daily business and project tasks in the company
  • 7. semester: Bachelor thesis

Practice

  • Apprenticeship as a Process Technician
  • Especially advanced knowledge in the fields mechanic, compounding, and processing methods for the production 
  • Finishing and coating of rubber products
  • Dealing with a topic-related problem and creation of one project report per semester
 

Preconditions

School Precondition: High school graduation or Advanced technical college certificate
